1) What is the main story on the front cover of the Times CSP edition and why does it appeal to Times readers? The main story is Gary Lineker and the reason why it appeals to Times readers is because they would have watched match of the day and would know who Gary Lineker is.

2) How is the presentation of this story different to how the Daily Mirror presents it? The Times are backing the BBC bosses whereas The Daily Mirror is backing up Gary Lineker.

3) How is the Times front page designed to reflect broadsheet newspaper conventions? There is more words than pictures and it holds more educated words and phrases.

4) How can you tell the inside pages of the Times are a broadsheet newspaper?  It contains Serif font, and more words than pictures.

5) What does a close analysis of the news stories in the Times CSP edition suggest about the Times's political beliefs? I can infer from a close analysis of the news stories that the times newspaper is often in favour of the Conservative party hence their belief that the BBC bosses are in the right.

1) 
How does the Times represent Gary Lineker and the BBC bosses in the CSP pages? These pages take the side of the BBC bosses in the Gary Lineker row rather than calling for Lineker to be given his job back.

2) What representation of the Conservative Party can be found in the CSP pages of the Times? The conservatives are seen as the bosses. The word bosses prove that they have more power, they make all  the decisions and they are in charge.

3) What does the word 'scab' refer to and how does this create a representation of striking workers? 
'Scab' refers to someone being unpleasant. This create representation of striking workers as they choose to work instead of joining co-workers in protesting low wages

4) What representation of the BBC can be found in the CSP pages of the Times? What does Times owner Rupert Murdoch think of the BBC?  The representation of the BBC can be found in the inside page, where the headline says that "BBC staff cry foul after radio commentator is called 'scab'".

5) What opinion would Times readers be likely to have about Gary Lineker and the BBC from reading these pages? The opinions of the Times readers would likely side with the BBC as the Times are against bringing back Gary Lineker to the BBC.
