Video adverts pre-production

Shot list and Script for my media coursework

Advert 1:

Script : It begins with a person doing house work really gloomy and depressed in black and  white with sad/boring music being played. During the housework they walk over to the fridge to grab an energy boosting drink (water). They take a sip of the drink and they have all of their energy back and they are smiling and are really happy because they have full energy and don't feel tired anymore.

Shot list : Start of the advert  begins with a long shot because it shows the people who are watching the advert what the person is doing. The middle of the advert contains a medium shot because they will open up the fridge to grab the healthy drink. It will also contain a over the shoulder shot by showing the drink being in the fridge. After they drink the smoothie it will contain a close up  shot because the person drinking the drink will smile after taking a sip. At the end of the advert there will be another long shot because it will show how the person's mood has improved.

Advert 2 :

Script :  it begins with a person who wakes up feeling really down and dehydrated. So they decided to go and check what they could drink.  They go into the fridge and they see a bottle of water . They go into their living room and take a sip of the water feeling refreshed and no longer dehydrated. At the end of the advert he will be saying my slogan original slogan.

Shot list : In the beginning of the advert there will be a close up shot of the person's alarm. In the middle of the advert they will be an over the shoulder shot following the person through the house/hallway. There will be a medium close up shot of them opening the fridge from the inside of the fridge. There will be a close up shot of the bottle in the person's hand. At the end of the advert there will be a medium close up shot of them drinking the drink and lastly there will be a medium shot of the actor saying the slogan.

Mise-en-scene

Costume : either pyjamas or a tracksuit in the beginning and then more colourful clothes when she takes a sip of the drink

Lighting/time of day : in the morning or after

Actors : My sister 

Makeup and hair : No makeup and messy hair in the beginning to get the feeling that she's just woken up and then when she takes a sip she's more put together so neat hair and natural makeup

Props : a phone , the innocent smoothie and cleaning products

Setting : a house 

Shooting schedule

I will be filming my adverts soon in my house with my sister. I will be completing all of my shots in the same day I'm just not sure when just yet but they will all be in my house. For my second advert I will be using my sisters boyfriends house and him for the second advert.
