Mise-en-scene

 Costume:  The character at the start is wearing a white lab coat. This suggests to the audience that he is a scientist.It also tells the audience hes working in a lab. 

 Setting: The light flickers black and white.The word 'Black' builds suspense and it represents danger.The lighting suggests that something bad is going to happen. (other scene) The woods are isolated and silent which suggest something is going to happen to him because he cycles into a place which is restricted.

Actor/placement/movement/expression:   The character is running for his life in terror from the monster.When he gets into the lift the expressions on his face are scared because when he looks up he can see the monster.(other scene)When he gets into the house he runs into a back house and he gets his gun ready to shoot whatever is after him.His expressions are full of terror because he is only a little boy all by himself,because when he went home no one was there.
